- 1 lb extra large shrimp (20-30 count).
- 1 large diced onion.
- 3-4 garlic cloves.
- 1 bell pepper finely chopped (red, yellow, (gives it color) or green.
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped.
- 3-4 cups chicken broth.
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme.
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano.
- 1/2 tsp ground marjoram.
- 1 tbsp Cajun seansoning.
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (for the kick I do 1 tsp).
- 1/2 tsp salt.
- 1/2 tsp pepper.
- 1 tsp smoked paprika.
- Olive oil.
