  9. 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch pieces.
  10. 1/2 a medium onion, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch pieces.
  11. 2 Tablespoons Japanese miso or light colored Korean dwenjang.
  12. 1 Tablespoon soy sauce.
  13. 2 teaspoons lemon zest.
  14. 1/4 cup lemon juice.
  15. 1 Tablespoons distilled white vinegar.
  16. 2-2.5 Tablespoons sugar.
  17. 2-3 Tablespoons water.
  18. 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
