Ingrédients de Crockpot Black Bean Chili:

  1. 2 pounds ground beef.
  2. 1 onion, chopped.
  3. 1 green pepper, chopped.
  4. 6 cloves garlic, minced.
  5. 1 can black beans, do not drain.
  6. 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes.
  7. 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste.
  8. 6 tablespoons chili powder.
  9. 1 tablespoon cumin.
  10. 3 tablespoons oregano.
  11. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  12. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  13. 1/4 teaspoon Adobo.
  14. Sour cream.
  15. Shredded Mexican cheese OR shredded cheddar cheese.

The mushrooms add a nice savory note (though you could leave them out if you are not a mushroom fan). The rest of the chili is made of diced onions and garlic, plus canned tomatoes. You get a thick & delicious A: You may need to cook your vegan crockpot chili for a bit longer on HIGH to soak up some of the liquid. This hearty black bean chili has ground turkey, is flavored with chili powder, oregano and basil, and perked up with a spoonful of red wine vinegar.

  1. Brown and drain fat from ground beef.......
  2. Add to ground beef the chopped onion, green pepper and garlic,sauté until veggies are tender........
  3. Add ground beef mixture to crockpot.......
  4. To crock pot add : black beans, crushed tomatoes and tomato paste.....Stir well....
  5. Next add : chili powder, cumin, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper and adobo, stir well......
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.....Stir occasionally.......
  7. Serve with some cornbread, sour cream, shredded Mexican cheese OR cheddar cheese and enjoy 😉!.

I cooked the onion, garlic and turkey in a saute pan, then transferred the mixture to a crockpot (so I didn't have to tend to it) and added the other.
