Ingrédients de Shaksukha:

  1. 6 eggs.
  2. 8 ounces pureed canned tomatoes.
  3. 2 tsp minced garlic.
  4. 1 tsp paprika (smoked is better).
  5. 1/2 tsp oregano.
  6. 1/2 tsp basil.
  7. 1/2 tbsp heavy cream.
  8. 2 tsp cumin powder.
  9. 2 tbsp chopper fresh cilantro.

Shakshuka may be at the apex of eggs-for-dinner recipes, though in Israel it is breakfast food, a bright, spicy start to the day with a pile of pita or challah served on the side. Shaksukha is a North African dish. I couldn't resist myself when I saw the beautiful Shaksukha plated by @cookmearhapsody I borrowed the recepie from @homecookingadventure ❤. Luckily, this shakshuka is a breeze to make!

Comment cuisiner Shaksukha:

  1. Heat oilve oil in an oven safe saute pan.
  2. Add tomato paste, cumin powder, paprika, oregano, basil and cook for 4-5 mins. season with salt and pepper.
  3. Break eggs into the pan leaving enough space between each egg..
  4. Add a dash of salt and pepper on to each egg.
  5. Garnish with cilantro, and transfer the pan to a preheated oven (375F).
  6. Bake for 15 mins-20 mins..
