  2. 4 tsp finely grated peeled ginger.
  3. 2 tsp ground turmeric.
  4. 2 tsp garam masala.
  5. 2 tsp ground coriander.
  6. 2 tsp ground cumin.
  7. 1 1/2 cup whole milk yoghurt.
  8. 1 tbsp salt.
  9. 2 lb boneless chicken breast, halved lengthwise.
  10. 3 tbsp vegetable oil.
  11. 1 small onion, thinly sliced.
  12. 1/4 cup tomato paste.
  13. 128 oz can whole peeled tomatoes.
  14. 2 cup heavy cream.
  15. 3/4 cup fresh cilantro.
  16. 1 steamed basmati rice.

  1. Combine garlic, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, coriander and cumin in a small bowl. Whisk yoghurt and half of spice mixture in a medium bowl. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and chill for 4-6 hours. Cover and chill remaining spice mixture..
