Ingrédients de Bourbon and Cream Chicken:

  1. 2-3 lbs chicken breast.
  2. Olive oil.
  3. 3 tbsp butter.
  4. 1 cup mushrooms.
  5. 1 cup spinach.
  6. 1 pint heavy cream.
  7. 2 tbsp shallots.
  8. 2 tbsp fresh thyme.
  9. 1/3 cup flour.
  10. 1/3 Kentucky bourbon.
  11. Salt.
  12. Pepper.

Comment cuisiner Bourbon and Cream Chicken:

  1. Cut chicken into strips. Coat with flour, salt, and pepper in a bag. Shake..
  2. Pour into skillet with oil. Cook on med-low temp until done. Chicken should be tender, not hard. Remove and set aside.
  3. In same skillet, add butter and shallots. Sautee 1 minute. Add mushrooms. Sautee for another minute.
  4. Add bourbon. Dont freak out if it flames up. This happens with strong burbon.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients, starting with the cream. This includes the cooked chicken.
  6. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper if desired. I like the cream saltier.
