Ingrédients de Rose Sharbat (homemade) #new:
- 1/2 cups Rose petals.
- 10 cups Sugar.
- 7 cups Water.
- 1/2 tsp Citric acid.
- 1 tsp Rose essence.
- 2-3 tsp Red food colour.

- Clean the rose petals specially if taking dried ones..
- Soak in water over night. In the morning add sugar to the soaked petals..
- Switch on the gas and keep stirring so that the sugar is not sticking at the bottom.add citric acid to it..
- Add 1 Tb spoon milk to clear the residue of sugar that collects on the top. If the syrup is clean then no need to add milk..
- Make a one thread consistency of syrup. Remove and let it cool..
- Add rose essence and red food colour and mix well. Sieve through a strainer and fill the bottles..
- Store in clean sterile bottles..
- The residue is used as GULKAND. Should not be thrown..
