Ingrédients de Rose Sharbat (homemade) #new:

  1. 1/2 cups Rose petals.
  2. 10 cups Sugar.
  3. 7 cups Water.
  4. 1/2 tsp Citric acid.
  5. 1 tsp Rose essence.
  6. 2-3 tsp Red food colour.

Comment cuisiner Rose Sharbat (homemade) #new:

  1. Clean the rose petals specially if taking dried ones..
  2. Soak in water over night. In the morning add sugar to the soaked petals..
  3. Switch on the gas and keep stirring so that the sugar is not sticking at the bottom.add citric acid to it..
  4. Add 1 Tb spoon milk to clear the residue of sugar that collects on the top. If the syrup is clean then no need to add milk..
  5. Make a one thread consistency of syrup. Remove and let it cool..
  6. Add rose essence and red food colour and mix well. Sieve through a strainer and fill the bottles..
  7. Store in clean sterile bottles..
  8. The residue is used as GULKAND. Should not be thrown..
